Other Tab Sites Scorch Help
We've put together tabs of some of our favorite flatpicking tunes and list these here for your picking pleasure. We've tried to select a variety of tunes, both well-known ones and those that are not so well known.

The tabs are arranged for beginning (B) or intermediate (I) players as indicated. The Key column in the table indicates the key played on the guitar. If a capo is indicated, then the actual key heard will be different. For example, "Liberty" is played using chords and notes in the key of C, but with the capo on the second fret. The actual key heard is D. For more information, see our capo transposition table.

Scorch File Format

We use Scorch to display our tab files. We think it's the best tool for publishing music on the Internet. Scorch lets you play the arrangement while you view it, and offers advanced features like an adjustable playback tempo. You can even change the key if you want - and see all the notation and chords automatically change in front of your eyes. The Scorch files also produce excellent quality printouts.

Please Note: As of this writing, Scorch does not work on computers running the Linux operating system. If you have Linux, you can view a list of our tabs in PDF format instead of the Scorch by following this link.

The Scorch Plug-in which is available for free. To learn more about Scorch and how to download the plug-in, please visit our Scorch page. If you are having trouble viewing the tab after you have installed Scorch, please visit the Scorch FAQ page.
