We recently migrated our tabs from the Scorch plug-in to the Sibelius cloud platform. In the past, you needed to have the Scorch plug-in installed in your browser to view the tabs, but over the years browsers changed and recently many no longer worked with the plug-in.
The solution provided by Sibelius was to store the tabs in the cloud and serve them up using their Cloud Viewer. This makes it simple to view the tabs and makes them more accessible. The Sibelius Cloud Sharing platform is new content delivery system that serves up our tabs across all browsers, devices (PCs, pads, phones, etc.) and operating systems.. There are no longer separate rules for different devices or plug-ins or incompatibilities.
The controls for the Cloud Viewer are located at the bottom of the window containing the tab. The controls are on a dark gray toolbar. The following image identifies these controls.
The current version of the Cloud Viewer does not have all the funcionality of the old Scorch system. Here is a side-by-side comparison of features.
